Are you having problems with your computer's Internet connection? Do you want to reset network settings? These commands below can solve many internet connection problems and I will show you step by step how to troubleshoot and repair your PC's network card settings.

Reset the TCP/IP stack:
Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.

Free the IP address:
Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.

Renew IP address:
Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.

Clear and reset the DNS client resolver cache:
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

You may want to try updating your network or reverting to a previous version.
You can also uninstall and reinstall your network adapter to see if this fix is causing the problem.

Also try disabling your antivirus and firewall to see if you have Internet access. Another thing to try is to boot into Safe Mode with Networking to see if you have Internet access.

If you are still having problems with the network card and have tried all of the above, boot to a Linux Live CD and see if you have Internet access. If you do this, the network adapter is working correctly and it is a Windows setting.
