Thumbnails not showing in Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10
Today we will see how to fix the issue where you cannot see the thumbnail preview of images.
Despite choosing the “Large Icons” option in View, we cannot see the thumbnail preview of any image.
So you just need to follow these simple steps.
Go to the Start menu and select File Explorer.
Select the Display tab at the top then click on “Options”
Now, in the new pop-up window named “Folder Options”, go to the “View” tab.
Make sure this option that says “Always show icons, never thumbnails” is not checked.
If this option is checked, thumbnail preview of images is not available.
