Fix Windows Media Player cannot play file, player may not support file type:

1. Navigate to your source file and right-click on it and go to /"Properties/".

2.Here you can choose /"Security tab/" and go to /"Advanced/" settings.

3.Now you can click to open /"change/" option, then enter your computer name, for example /"arunkumarn/".

4. Then click /"check names/" and click /"save/" all settings tabs.

5.Now select your source file again, right-click on it and navigate to /"properties/".

6. Next, choose the /"security/" tab and this time you can click on the /"edit/" option and choose your /"administrator/" account.

7.Here you can uncheck the /"decline/" option and finally click to /"save/" all settings.

8.Try to play the same video file or audio file again, the problem is solved.
