This is the real deal! After combing through all my cookbooks and countless recipes online I came up with a recipe for homemade strawberry cake without gelatin! This cake has a wonderfully fresh strawberry flavor similar to the flavor combination of strawberry cake in a delicate pink layer cake. The color and flavor are subtle but delicious. No neon pink here! Just fantastic strawberry flavor. I served this at my daughter's 6th birthday party with friends and family and everyone loved it and described it as 'baker quality'.
