So you have to play through the entire starting zone of Wrath Classic Death Knight until you have completed the quest /"Where Kings Walk/" on Alliance or /"Warchief's Blessing/" on Horde.

Although you play to unlock it through Classic, it is only earned and usable at retail.

Mount NOT available in World of Warcraft Classic.
