Sometimes when you want to update your device via Samsung KIES, it keeps asking you to update KIES first even though it already has the latest update.

When this happens, you can update the firmware of your
Galaxy Tab via the device itself.

Make sure you have a WiFi connection and your Galaxy Tab
is fully charged and/or connected to the mains.
