I use this recipe for spaetzle sauce to top my baked pork chops (also on this site). With a portion of homemade spaetzle on the side this dish reminds me of my favorite German city: Leavenworth WA.

Jagerschnitzel – Authentic German Schnitzel with Brown Jager Sauce
1 tablespoon butter or to taste
1 medium onion diced
10 mushrooms thickly sliced
