This tip works for any habit you want to develop. It's easy to make something a habit when you put it in your way, forcing the habit to achieve a more enjoyable goal.

For example, I would put a book on my pillow every day, so that when I went to bed at night and wanted to put my head on the pillow to sleep, I HAD to pick up a book that was bothering me. Then, as I already had the book, I read a page or two. Now I've been reading every day for over 3 years straight.
