What is a password? Access keys are arguably the most secure type of identity technology available today. For years, hackers have been able to easily steal passwords via malicious links or phishing emails. Access keys take things to a whole new level. Access keys use a private/public key pair to authenticate to the sites and services you use, and they authenticate with existing PINs, FaceIDs, or TouchIDs. The private/public key pair can now be stored on mobile devices and computers.

Access keys are designed to be easy to use, resistant to phishing and brute force, and it doesn't matter if your public key is leaked in a server hack – it's useless without the private key which only lives on your devices. By mass adoption of passkey technology, we can help stop scammers and hackers preying on people with poor security hygiene.
