This is an informational video on how to reset your Google Chromecast to factory defaults as well as the setup process using an Android and an iPhone. Note that the 1st and 2nd generation can be reset to factory settings in the same way. This is a hard reset using the key/button. You don't need to plug it into your HDMI port, but you do need to plug in the USB port to power it. I hope this tutorial will be useful to you.
