Google Nest Audio Setup and Review Best smart speaker for music?

Review of the Google Nest Audio smart speaker, an improved home model for 2020, offering the best music quality of any of Google's lineups. Here, I set up and tested the Nest Audio, taking a closer look at the sound quality as well as the Assistant functionality.

Here in the UK, you can get this speaker from Amazon and other retailers from October 15th, for 90.

Like previous Home devices, you get a combined plastic and fabric finish, available in chalk or charcoal colors. Google has improved the sound output, so you now get 75% more power and 50% stronger bass compared to the original Home smart speaker. The Nest Audio serves surprisingly good music despite its compact size, with a volume loud enough to fill even a fairly large room. Plus, you can connect multiple devices for speaker output or synchronized playback throughout your home.

To set up, simply download Google Home for your Android phone or iPhone and follow the instructions, as we explain in this video. You can then use Hey Google commands to interact with Nest Audio, via the far-field triple mic setup.
