We call them Grandma Noodles but this is my late mother-in-law’s recipe—her favorite because of the flavor and because they don’t bounce back when you roll them up. At every family gathering she made the best chicken and noodles by tossing her prepared noodles in homemade chicken broth with shredded cooked chicken and serving them over mashed potatoes. I’ve made them many times and everyone loves them. When I’m making multiple batches and don’t have much counter space I hang the rounds on clean plastic hangers to dry.
