I’ve said this a few times before but when sugary carbs are your full-time job salty veggies become so much more than a craving: They’re an antidote to the tooth-aching sweetness that comes with making and tasting desserts all day. Lately the cold dreary weather has me in a grilled-cheese-and-tomato-soup kind of mood but that still leaves me craving something green.
Oh sure I could have a salad but how could I possibly squeeze a ball of spinach and artichoke dip between two slices of toast and cheese? Like I said for me this is more than a craving it’s a way of life.
