I’ll admit it: I used to be a hot avocado snob. Look around you I’m sure you know one. I’m talking about people who find the thought of serving avocado at any temperature other than cold ridiculous. People who hear about tempura-fried avocado and laugh in horror. People who would puke at the thought of putting guacamole in the middle of a grilled cheese sandwich.
Perhaps there are people for whom hot avocado really does have the bitter taste that some people claim but I think for most people who hate hot avocado (myself included in the past) the symptoms are largely psychosomatic.
