How to make grilled tomatoes
Mid-July is about the time of year when tomatoes come into full season. I have five tomato plants in my garden that are now producing more tomatoes than we can think of how to use. (Gazpacho anyone?)
A quick and easy recipe I've been experimenting with this week is to simply grill the tomatoes cut side down and season them with olive oil salt pepper and chopped basil. It's so good!
When working with fresh tomatoes from your own garden less is sometimes more because the products are already so good.
