This homemade Chex party mix recipe has always been a favorite in our house during the holidays. My mom has had this recipe since it was created in the 40's. This was so much better than the newer versions with a richer flavor with the extra butter. This is a very hard to find recipe so I thought I would share it. Great for canning and giving away. I always quadruple the recipe and store the rest in the freezer. Store in an airtight container or large resealable bags.
