This recipe was shown to me years ago by my Sicilian employer in Lynchburg VA. It is made from scratch with tomatoes onions peppers wine and spices. Do not cook the chicken before adding it to this recipe; it all needs to meld together to get this specific flavor. Leaving the skin on the chicken allows the flavors to meld as it cooks. You can remove the skin after cooking.
