Making your own egg noodles is SO EASY!

Egg noodles are easier to make than you might think. This old-fashioned egg noodle recipe is made with flour eggs and salt. If you’ve tried making homemade Italian pasta before but weren’t thrilled with the process or the results these egg noodles are much easier. They’re also easier to work with since you don’t have to roll out the dough as thinly as you would with Italian pasta.

A great substitute for pasta serve egg noodles with your favorite sauce. They also make an excellent noodle dish and can be enjoyed with a hearty stew or in soup. These homemade egg noodles can be used in place of rice for most dishes or are the ultimate comfort food when tossed in a large bowl with butter and served with grated cheese.

Cook the homemade egg noodles while they are still fresh or let them dry and store the noodles for later use. As long as you have enough counter space this recipe can be doubled or even tripled. You can also start a second batch while the first round of dough is cooling.
