Crunchy Nutella was a staple of my restaurant experience. I used it for everything: as a topping on cake as a sauce for panna cotta as a spread on a baguette as a dip for fresh fruit as a topping on ice cream as a filling for truffles and as the dark base of a cream cake.

Nutella is perhaps the most famous brand of gianduja in the world. It is the beloved Italian chocolate-hazelnut spread. Traditional gianduja however contains a much higher percentage of hazelnuts while Nutella is made primarily from sugar and palm oil flavored with a minimum of hazelnuts and cocoa.
