Aarti Sequeira's 5-Star Chicken Tikka Masala | Food Network

Aarti Sequeira opens up about her career as a chef when she was just moving to Los Angeles and spending hours in her kitchen with recipes from The Joy of Cooking. It’s a fitting start for someone who brings an undeniable joy to cooking—and to competitions. Sequeira won The Next Food Network Star in 2010 and has since appeared on a handful of cooking shows. No matter the circumstances this chef knows how to keep her chin up. While cooped up during the COVID-19 outbreak Sequeira has been showing her Instagram followers how to transform pantry staples into delicious globally inspired meals. As for her off-camera time? Find Sequeira in the kitchen music on hard seltzer in hand. If that’s not joy we don’t know what is.

In this episode of Homemade Sequeira Martie Duncan talks about cooking with moms who buy spices online and the Indian cooking technique that adds tons of flavor to everything from roast chicken to sweet potatoes. Listen to Homemade on Apple Podcasts Spotify and wherever podcasts are available.
