Pork chops with sour cream (easy to make!)

I grew up as a latchkey kid in the 80’s and as part of the “helping” chores I took on the task of cooking dinner for our family. My mother didn’t cook much so I had only learned to prepare meals that relied on convenience foods to make dinner easy.
One of our family favorites was Shake 'N Bake a highly seasoned breading mix that had the ability to make very bland pork chops or chicken taste "fried" when baked. It was much safer than deep frying or pan-frying and the results were reliable: crispy coating on juicy meat and lots of flavor without a lot of fuss.
