The year is far from over and we’ve already seen some surprising collaborations in the food world. It’s a far cry from the mustard Skittles we saw last year but brands are always getting more creative. Last month Cinnabon launched a cinnamon roll with a popping candy coating and Oreo teamed up with Coca-Cola for a soda-inspired cookie. While some mashups like Ranch Cheez-Its live up to fans’ long-held expectations there are plenty of collaborations we never saw coming.
Now two more brands are joining forces for a unique launch. Hormel and Cinnamon Toast Crunch have teamed up to create a new bacon flavor and fans already have strong opinions about it.
