There’s no doubt that Kerrygold butter is a premium product. If you’re not familiar with it Irish butter is made with milk from grass-fed cows giving it a deeper golden color than traditional American butter and a noticeably creamier mouthfeel. But this premium product also comes with a premium price tag.

I’ve personally found that everything I bake (especially cookies!) turns out so much better when I use Kerrygold instead of regular store-bought butter. So to save some money I stocked up at Costco where I could get four bars of gold (the equivalent of 8 sticks of American butter) for just $15.84. That’s $6.52 in savings (over $1 savings per bar of Kerrygold) over buying it at my local grocery store.
