With the launch of Windows 11 24H2, Microsoft promises improved performance of x86 emulation thanks to its new Prism x86/x86-64 emulator. Prism allows Arm-based Windows laptops to run Intel/AMD code, without modification. Windows has been able to do this since Windows 10, but Prism is a redesign that promises parity with Apple's Rosetta emulation.
