How I fixed my Elden Ring performance issues on PC (FPS drops with stuttering on black screen)

I had numerous performance issues with Elden Ring, including black screens, stuttering, and random FPS drops. Here's what I did:

1) Black screen: updating my drivers. This is common to all Nvidia graphics cards. The update should remove black screen issues.

2) Stuttering and FPS drops: Turning my settings to medium and adjusting the depth of field to low significantly improved my laptop's performance.
