Opening the laptop with a standard screwdriver was a pain. A small screw was damaged and stuck, so a solution had to be found to be able to disassemble the back cover of the laptop. A small drill was used to drill a hole in the laptop and destroy the damaged screw. I think screw extractors and special screwdriver sets were the way to go. Not having the right tools I encountered problems and used this dangerous method
After a lot of work I managed to get to the battery. Is the laptop still working? I then turned on the laptop and it works. I was hoping to be able to change the battery in time to capture the Orion Nebula, but I didn't. I'm hoping for a few nights with clear skies soon.
