To get started, open the Facebook app on your phone. Go to your profile, then tap your profile picture. A menu will appear from the bottom. Select add frame. You will then see the frames recently used by your friends. Tap see all. You can use the search box at the top or scroll down to find the frame you want to use. And then press the frame.
Every time you choose a frame, the profile photo on the interface shows you how that frame will look like in your photo. Now press the Edit button. You can drag your profile photo to zoom in or out and reposition it in the frame. Then tap Done. If you want to set this profile picture for a specific period of time, tap on make it temporary. And set the duration in the menu. You will return to your previous profile picture once the chosen time period has expired. From there, you can change the frame or add profile photo protection. You can stop sharing this update on your News Feed by unchecking the box. After that, tap Save at the top right corner.
