How to add a song to playlist on Apple Music

In this awesome tech short, I'll show you how to add songs to a new or existing playlist on Apple Music.

First we'll create a new playlist based on a song I want to create from. Choose the song from an album page, then tap the title at the bottom to navigate to the currently playing page.

Here, tap the three dots to the right of the song title, then choose Add to Playlist.

Since we're starting a new playlist from scratch, tap new playlist at the top.

Tap the name and give your new playlist a title. You can also tap the cover image at the top and upload or take a new photo if you want to add it.

Then you can add a description if you want.

Finally, if you want to add more tracks right now to the playlist, tap Add Music and search or browse for more. Once you find the music you want to add, simply tap the plus sign to the right.

Once you're done, tap Done, then start again to create the new playlist.

Go back to your library page, then choose playlists and you will find your new playlist.

And finally, if we are listening to music and want to add it to an existing playlist, tap now playing again at the bottom, select the three dots, add to playlist, then choose the list reading here.

And that's how you add songs to a playlist on Apple Music.
