Zotero is an excellent reference manager to be more efficient in your searches. A nice feature of Zotero is the ability to annotate your research articles directly in your reference manager. In fact, you can highlight, create notes, and take screenshots of articles right in Zotero. You can even color coordinate your annotations in Zotero. Then you can create article notes from your annotations and export them.
