How to clear Windows 10 virtual memory? When you turn off your PC and remove power, the paging file data is stored on your computer and may contain sensitive data that may want to be erased.

Registry Location: To ENABLE this feature, change it to 1
Computer//HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//SYSTEM//CurrentControlSet//Control//Session Manager//Memory Management

Group Policy Editor:
Local Computer Policy/Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Local Policies

Look for “Shutdown: Clear virtual memory paging file” and the ENABLE feature.
