If someone is filling up your Gmail inbox and can't understand that you don't want what they're selling, it might be time to block them. Luckily, Google makes it easy to block an email sender in Gmail.
Step 1. Launch the Gmail app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device, then navigate to an email from the sender you want to block.
Step 2. Tap to open the email and see the message, then tap the ellipsis directly above the email to open a menu.
Step 3. Tap /"Block/" in this menu. A dialog box appears at the top of this message informing you that all new messages from this person will automatically be sent to your spam folder.
