A quick tutorial on how to change the extension of a file in Windows 10 (in this example we are changing a .txt file to a .bat file). This can be useful for switching for example .png images to .jpg in case some sites do not allow the download of png files!

The simple steps are:
– Enable "Show file extensions" option in computer settings
– Double-click the file to rename it (or right-click and rename)
– Change the file extension and accept the warning

Also works the same for Windows 11!
