In this video, I'll show you how to change AirDrop visibility settings on your iPhone or iPad. Whether you want to make yourself visible to everyone nearby, just to your contacts, or to no one at all, I have the steps to help you tailor your AirDrop experience to your needs.
Now let's move on to the steps to change AirDrop visibility settings on your Apple iPhone or iPad.
Step 1. Open the Settings app. Scroll through this menu, then tap /"General/" The General screen appears.
Step 2. Tap /"AirDrop/" in this menu. The AirDrop options are displayed.
Step 3. The section at the top of this screen is where you will find the AirDrop visibility options. You can choose to turn off AirDrop, make it available only to contacts, or make it visible to everyone for 10 minutes.
