In this video, I'll show you how to set your default apps at any time on your Android device. If you have multiple apps that do the same thing, Android gives you the option to choose your default app for six different app categories and functions, to suit you. These categories are: Browser App, Caller ID & Spam App, Digital Assistant App, Home App, Phone App, SMS App.

Steps to set or change default Android apps:
1. Open the app /"Settings/"
2. Tap /"Applications/"
3. Tap /"Default apps/"
4. Tap the app category for which you want to set or change the default app. For example, if you want to change the default browser app, tap /"Browser app/"
5. From the list of browsers you have installed on your Android device, tap the browser app you want to use to select it.
6. You can now close your Settings app if you are finished setting default apps or you can return to /"Default apps/" by pressing the back arrow key at the top left of your screen.
Note: To set a default app for a specific app category on your Android device, you must have at least one app installed for that specific category. To change a default app for a specific app category, you must have multiple apps doing the same thing.
