– Open the Facebook app and tap the three-line button at the bottom right of the home page.
– Tap “Settings & Privacy”, then tap “App Language”.
– Tap “open phone settings”
– This will automatically open Facebook settings, but unless you have changed the language before, you will not be able to change it here at this time.
– You need to press the back arrow to return to the main settings, then press "general"
– In general, scroll down and tap “language and region”
– Now under “iPhone Language” you need to tap on “Other Languages”
– Choose a language, I will choose French as first, tap the language then tap “keep English” (or your current language)
– It will say update language and then you will have two languages listed instead of one.
– Now you need to tap the back arrow on the top left twice to return to the main settings page.
– Scroll down until you find Facebook and tap it to open Settings.
– A language option will now appear in Facebook settings. Tap it to open it.
– Choose the language you want your Facebook app to be in and tap to select it.
– Now when you open the Facebook app, it will be in the language you selected.
– If you want to change it, you can tap the three-line button in the bottom right corner, scroll down, then tap the settings cog, then tap the globe icon.
– Now the language option will appear immediately and you can simply tap on a new language to change it.
