Ways You Can Change the Folder Icon and Use Folder Features Functions
To change the folder icon image in Windows 11:
Right-click on the folder whose icon you want to change.
Select /"Properties/" from the context menu.
In the Properties window, click the /"Customize/" tab.
Click on the /"Change icon/" button.
A list of default icons will appear. You can select one of these icons or click the /"Browse/" button to select an icon from another location on your computer.
Once you have selected the desired icon, click the /"OK/" button to apply the changes.
You can also use third-party software to customize the folder icon image. Some of the most popular ones are FolderIco, Folder Marker and FolderChanger. These software allow you to choose from a variety of pre-installed icons or use your own custom icon. You may need to download and install the software on your computer, then open the software and locate the folder whose icon you want to change, then follow the software's instructions to change the icon.
