In this video I explain changing the IP address of one of my domain controllers. I changed the IP address from 192.168.100.11 to 192.168.100.15. The steps to change the IP address are very simple, but you need to spend some time going through a checklist before making changes to production domain controllers. If you change the subnets, additional steps may be required, such as updating the DHCP servers and relay agents on the routers.

Domain controllers are an essential service and you don't want them to have problems or you'll have a bad day. In my checklist, I suggest several steps to take before and after changing your IP address.
