Method 1. To change your Wi-Fi password, you will need to open your router's settings page using an internet browser. Open any internet browser on your phone and enter your router's default IP address. This is usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, but you should check the specific details for your router as they may differ. It is often written on the bottom or side of the router, listed as an IP address or "access URL." The router login page will open. Here you need to enter the user id and password. For each router, by default, the user ID and password are given as: “admin, admin”, “admin, password”. You can find the connection details on the back of the router. Once connected, locate the “Wireless” or “Wireless Security” option. It will probably be listed at the top or left of the page. In the “Wi-Fi Password” or “Key” box, enter the password you want to assign to your connection. The strongest passwords are long and contain a mixture of letters, numbers and symbols. Once you're finished making your changes, scroll down and click "Save" to save the changes. The Wi-Fi password will then be changed immediately. Once you change the password, the devices you have connected to this network can be disconnected. If this happens you will need to reconnect them with the new wifi password.
Method 2.Change Wi-Fi password on Android using apps. Go to Play Store and install Router Admin Setup Control – Configure WiFi Password.
