Bluetooth is one of the old technologies used to transfer files between a mobile device and a computer. However, often the Bluetooth version is not supported, creating connection and file sharing issues. Although most smartphones today support Bluetooth 4.0 or later, you may not be able to transfer the files if your Windows 10 PC does not support at least Bluetooth 4.0.

How to view Bluetooth adapter version in Windows 10?
To find out your Windows 10 Bluetooth adapter version, first press the Windows X keys on the keyboard and select Device Manager from the menu that appears.
In the “Device Manager” window that opens, expand the Bluetooth entry.
Here you will find several Bluetooth inputs.
Select your Bluetooth brand then right-click on it.
Next, select the Properties option.
Next, switch to the Advanced tab in the Bluetooth Properties dialog box.
Besides the “Firmware”, you will also see here the LMP version of Bluetooth used by your PC. We have mentioned the LMP version and the corresponding Bluetooth version in this video description, through which you can know your Bluetooth version. Here is the table of LMP versions: –
