How to check the Ubuntu version on your device

You check your Ubuntu version in two ways
1. In the upper right corner of your screen,
click the /"gear/" icon and select /"About this computer/".
It will give you details about your operating system. Currently I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 lts. it will also give you information if you are using 32 or 64 bit
Or
For systems running on Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 16.04
Click on the /"gear/" icon and select System Settings, Details. This will give you the details about your operating system.

You check your Ubuntu version using the terminal.
Open the terminal
Type /"lsb_release -a/" in terminal
That's it

check linux version
check Ubuntu version 32 or 64
check Ubuntu terminal version
check ubuntu bash version
check Ubuntu version command
check Ubuntu version from command line
check Ubuntu version and bit
