How to connect a wireless microphone to a PC

I spent a few hours trying to figure out how to connect my wireless microphone to my computer. A wireless microphone may come with 2 cables with 2 different ends. One is called TRS and the other is called TRRS. TRS has 2 black rings and TRRS has 3 black rings. If you read the user manual for wireless microphones, they will tell you that you need to connect the TRRS end of your receiver cable to the computer. But I have discovered that this is not always the case. In my previous video, I showed you how to connect the wireless mic to a laptop with a TRRS cable. But now when I tried to connect my wireless mic via TRRS to my old PC, it just didn't work, even though my Windows 10 recognized the new mic. I was about to lose all my hopes, until I told myself to try connecting the TRS cable instead. To my surprise, it worked instantly. The lesson is to try connecting your wireless microphone with a TRS and TRRS cable and see which one would work for you. If your computer is quite old, like mine, there's a good chance you're using the TRS cable even if the user manual says otherwise. TRS has 2 black rings. Usually used for connection to camera and old computers.
TRRS has 3 black rings. Typically used for connection to modern telephone and computers.
