Stopping the timer with CMD. How to Shutdown Windows 10 Computer with Timer Command Prompt, No Software Required and Working in 2023 as we just use the built-in Windows Command Prompt to write in a simple command line to shut down the system after hours, specified minutes and seconds.

Shut down your system with calculated times:

5 min: stop -s -t 300
20min: stop -s -t 1200
1h: stop -s -t 3600
2h: stop -s -t 7200
5am: stop -s -t 18000
10 a.m.: stop -s -t 36000

Stop the set timer: shutdown -a
