To remove an email account from Apple Mail, click Mail at the top of the menu bar. Then select preferences.

Select the email account you want to delete from the list of accounts on the left.

At the bottom of the window, click the minus sign.

Select Delete in the pop-up window. The account will now be deleted from mail.
