Depending on the app, these options may vary, but ALL apps will have the "delete app" option. Tap on the Remove app option. Once you do that, you will see an option to delete the app or delete from the home screen. Go ahead and tap Remove app. This will notify you that this will also delete all app data.
Just a word of warning here: if this is an app that contains sensitive data, such as business information or personal information that cannot be lost, make sure you have backed up that data. Once you know your data is safe, go ahead and select Delete. Now let's say you deleted an app but now want to reinstall it.
To do this, tap the App Store icon to open the App Store. In the upper right corner of the screen, you will see either your Apple ID profile picture or a person icon. Tap the image or icon to open your account page. This page has many useful options, but we are looking for the purchased button. If you tap it and then tap My Purchases, you can see a list of apps you've purchased.
At the top, you'll also see two buttons, one that says "All" and one that says "Not on this iPhone." You can use the search bar just below these two buttons to enter the app name. However, if you don't remember the app name, you can select "Not on this iPhone" to search for previously installed apps. Once you find the app you want to reinstall, simply tap the download icon to the right of the app name to reinstall the app. This is how you delete and reinstall apps on your iPhone!
