This video will show you three different ways to turn off auto-rotate on an iPhone.

The auto-rotate option is controlled by a setting called "Portrait orientation lock." When turned off, the phone switches between portrait and landscape orientation depending on how you hold it.

But you may need to know how to turn off auto-rotate on your iPhone if you don't want auto-rotation to happen.

There are three different ways to do this, namely:

Method 1 – Swipe down from the Home screen, then tap “Portrait orientation lock.”

Method 2 – Settings – Accessibility – Touch – AssistiveTouch – Enable /"Assistive Touch/" then choose a custom action – Select /"Lock rotation/"

Method 3 – Settings – Accessibility – Touch – Back Tap – Select /"Double Tap/" or /"Triple Tap/" – Select / "Lock Rotation/"
