Network discovery is a network setting that determines whether your computer can see (find) other computers and devices on the same network and whether other computers and devices on the same network can see your computer.
When network discovery is enabled, the device sends signals over the network to search for other discoverable devices. This allows you to easily share network resources between devices connected to the network.
Go to search in the taskbar. Type Control Panel. Click on it to open it.
Go to the Network and Sharing Center. Select Change advanced sharing settings from the list on the left.
Expand the Private option. Check Disable network discovery. Expand guest or audience blocking. Check Disable network discovery. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the window.
