How to download and install Opera browser on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?

Step 1: Go to https://google.com, then search for “Opera browser”, click the first link.

Step 2: This page will be opened https://www.opera.com/hi/download

Step 3: Click the “Download” link in Linux, download the Opera browser “deb” package.

Step 4: Now go to the desktop. Right-click on it, then click “open terminal”.

Step 5: Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the opera 'deb' file.

Step 6: Now type the command below to install it.

sudo dpkg -i full_name_of_deb_package_of_opera

Step 7: After that, press Enter. Follow the instructions and it will be installed.

Step 8: Now open the Opera browser. Click “Show Apps” at the bottom left. Search for “opera”, click on it to open it.
