When we travel to a new destination, we would like to know how to get from point A to point B, find a travel agency or a restaurant. And sometimes there is no phone reception. Even when you get a local SIM card (like Death Valley in the US or the Great Barrier Reef Islands in Australia).
So here's how to download Google Maps for offline use.
1️⃣ Open the Google Maps app
2️⃣ Type the destination in the search bar
3️⃣ Swipe right to find a download button
(This will be under destination, where there are also buttons for direction, label, save…)
4️⃣ Press the Download button
5️⃣ Zoom in or out on the map
6️⃣ Tap Download (download will only be done over WiFi)
7️⃣ Use your map offline
