Warning: You will be breaking copyright law if you download other people's YouTube subtitles and call them your own! How do I download the subtitles of my Youtube videos as a text file on my Samsung Galaxy S10 Android phone? …https://adrianvideoimage.blogspot.com/2021/07/how-to-download-youtube-subtitles-as.html

I'm feeling lazy today.
I uploaded a new vlog… https://youtu.be/1Nk8xJrcqUs
Now I want to write the description based on the transcription of what I said.
I know I can download the auto-generated caption.
BUT… I have to head to my desk and open my laptop.
Can I download subtitles to my Samsung Galaxy S10?

Yes! I found a way…

1. Install ccTube… https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?idcom.kigate.cctube

2. Access the video using the YouTube app.

3. Tap the Share button.

4. Share the video on ccTube.

5. On the ccTube app, tap the download button to save the subtitles to the ccTube folder.

6. Go to the Google Files app to access internal storage and find the ccTube folder.

7. Open the text file.

That's it! All I have to do now is copy and paste the text into my blog post and make any changes I want.
