The Clipboard is not a program or application but a feature that allows you to copy text and images that you can paste into another program. The Clipboard or Copy command is an essential part of any word processing software.

You copy text or any image and it is temporarily stored in computer memory. The copied data is available to all other applications in the operating system. But the conventional clipboard only remembers one piece of information which is replaced as soon as you copy something else to the clipboard.

However, in Windows 11, the clipboard has been upgraded to include a new feature called Clipboard History. Clipboard history will show you a list of any text or images you have previously copied as well as your most recent copied information.
